My family moved to Grand Prairie, Texas from Memphis, Tennessee in 1964. I graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1974. I had been trained as a nurse's aid in high school but found my love for electronics when I enlisted in the United States Air Force. I was trained at Lowery Air Force Base as a Avionics Sensor Systems Technician. I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB in Austin Texas, RAF Bentwaters England UK, England AFB Louisiana, and Lowery AFB Denver Colorado. I became an Air Force Cadet by going to Air Force ROTC at East Texas State University and graduated in 1985 with a BS in Computer Science. I went back into the Air Force as an officer (I am a retired Capt) and served at Cheyenne Mountain AFB in Colorado Springs. I finished my Masters in Computer Science. As a civilian I have worked for GeoDynamics, Digital Equipment, Oracle, Sequent Computers, FedEx, Rocky Mountain Internet, Dalhart Corporation, Gunther Douglas, and now Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mostly I do systems management/administration, Oracle Relational Database management(DBA), UNIX development, Systems Development and Integration, data modeling, web dev, and consulting. I am also a University Professor teaching for Colorado Technical University, Regis University, and Webster University in their computer science departments. (My Resume)I have a wonderful wife, Carol and a crazy family of kids and pets. Hobbies are computers of course, computer gaming, trying to raise vegetables in a garden, and the SETI project. We have a good life in Colorado. We believe that God has blessed us.
